What more can I say? Definitely out of my comfort zone as far as colour and pattern are concerned. I had this digi image which was a freebie, I've seen it as lovely cards by others on MSE and I just had to use it. It made me think of poppies but for some reason I didn't want to do red, then I found this paper and was delighted the shape of the flowers were a virtual match, so that set the colour theme. The spotty and stripey papers were part of the same set and I decided to use them to tone it down a bit. Then, in my stash I found the perfect ribbon but I still wasn't happy. Something was missing and it was all down to the colour. Just in time the postie brought my MSE card swap prize from the lovely Sarah - what gorgeous goodies there were, and lo and behold a blue flower which I thought was perfect to lift this card. Then some Card Candy coloured with my turqoise Promarker, some peel off spots got the same treatment and were stuck around the edge of the scalloped circle and I'm still not sure. Maybe it needs a sentiment, I'll have a think! Maybe I should stick within my comfort zone but it's good to do something different from time to time.
These colours fit into the theme for the challenge at Cute Card Thursday so I'd like to enter it into the following:
Cute Card Thursday Challenge #115 - Colour Combo - Black, Orange, Blue
Charisma Cardz Challenge #22 - Flowers

Hi Glennis. I don't have a way of getting in touch with you so hopefully you'll come back for the answer to your question. MSE is the Money Saving Expert forum, there is a cardmaking thread on there and we have card swaps (through Crafty Place) and challenges.
What a gorgeous card, love the bright colours xxx
Fab card - I didn't think to colour card candy with promarkers so I have learnt something today!!!!
